Last week we went to Glasgow for the day to meet some of our local team members.

We had the chance to land in a slightly different city than expected as George Square was decorated as the Philadelphia city centre for the shooting of a Hollywood blockbuster with Brad Pitt, World War Z.

We spent some time enjoying the shooting scene in the street between our meetings but didn’t spot any stars! The crew and all the movie set was really impressive though.

We also saw some unexpected co-operation between Police forces.

More seriously, this is where your Glasgow MoRunning is happening and we can tell you, we love the city.

We checked the course with Geraldine, our local promoter and Tommy, the location manager and it’s brilliant. The path is really wide, the scenery is really nice with the river on the side and the finish area has plenty of space for you and your supporters to hang out. So we hope you will enjoy it.

Also we realised the entry fees for Glasgow MoRunning was a bit above what you are used to pay for a 5k. (Our entry fee still includes a donation to Movember) so we just updated the price to £15 and the start time to 10.30AM to let you have a bit more of sleep on a sunday morning.
